If you haven't gathered by now, the Museum is a very rare, wonderful and special place. Like all places that fit this description, the Museum is also a fragile environment that relies upon the benevolence and support of a community that appreciates art, culture, good times and weird stuff.

That said...we need your help!

Sure, you can buy a membership or donate financially (always appreciated), but we also are in need of reliable and curious people to volunteer their time here.

We are in need of volunteers for the following:

Gallery Sitting - being here when the MSM is open to 'hold down the fort'.

Live Event Staff - Help with the door, sound, clean up or other live event stuff.

Grounds keeping - floor waxing, dusting, and so forth.

Documentation - Qualified photographers are needed to photograph our ever expanding collection of rare objects and cultural artifacts

Volunteers receive free admission to most all events valued at $8 or less and significant discounts for pricier events. Volunteers also receive free admission the the MSM, %20 off in the Gift Shoppe and mucho good karma for life.

Internships:

Internships are available to reliable, dedicated and industrious lovers of history, objects, organization, funk, events, art and beauty. Internships often involve more time and commitment than volunteering, but they can sometimes earn you school credit! There are a plethora of things we can keep you buys and engaged with.
