[edit] Recovering Corpse de Ballet: Lidochka, in Memoriam—Ongoing!

  • Opening Reception Saturday July 24, 4pm. donations appreciated. Installation and paintings by Petr Shvetsov, readings by Polina Barskova and sound installation by Ernesto Estrella Cózar. Painting unveiling at 7 p.m. Caviar and Champagne opening reception to follow. Lidochka's watery death, horrific and mesmerizing, was interpreted by the poets, artists, and art critics as a sign of the new time—that of silence and silencing, that of art subservient to the state power.   • Every Tuesday Night, 8:30pm, donations totally accepted!

This month’s theme: Post Apocalyptic! Don't watch these movies! Obscure, Bad, Cult, B-Movies, whatever you want to call them, we're playing them on the Medium Sized Screen at the Main Street Museum every Tuesday.

No reserved seating! Our nighttime social events are "BYOB" and yet follow all accepted standards for public decorum!

[edit] Parking is Available on the Street!

The streets of White River Junction are really quite safe. Public parking lots are conveniently located by the Railroad Depot. Please do not park in our buildings riverside lot unless you are familiar with the parking situation here.

DO NOT PARK CARS ON THE SIDE OF OUR BUILDING, or on the adjacent property on Bridge Street, or the well-lighted Home Comfort Warehouse lot in back of the Museum! Cars will be towed from the side, or from the back of our building!

Bob Pickering sells stolen bicycles and acts as a general property manager next door. He wears a baseball style cap and both he and his wife have a history of verbal harassment of Museum patrons, hate speech and physically molesting Museum patrons. The museum has filed "Notice Against Trespass" papers against Mr. Pickering. Please alert museum staff if they are seen on museum property, or if they approach museum patrons.
Daniel Johnson employs Mr. Pickering. In the event of trouble or concerns please report his actions directly to the Hartford Police, 802.295.9425 or to Mr. Johnson at design-build@valley.net, or 802.291.7080.
