Hello past & future WRJ Pride Volunqueers!

We're less than two months away from our July 19 kickoff Glow Party (thanks Tony). If you love WRJ Pride and would like to help make it awesome, we still need volunteers for the following events. If you're planning to attend one or more and wouldn't mind arriving early or staying late to help out with setup, cleanup, greeting, being the most helpful gnome, etc it's never too early to sign up for your favorites. And if you have friends, family, partners, exes, anyone who would like to get involved but isn't connected yet, forward this call on to them. The more the merrier, and lighter the lift.

 

• Saturday, July 19 7 PM Kickoff Glow Party with mobile Babe's Bar at MSM - 5 Volunteers

• Sunday, July 20 4 PM Paint and Sip - 2 Volunteers 

• Monday, July 21 7 PM Open Mic Night - 3 Volunteers

• Wednesday, July 23 7PM LGBTQ Writers Panel - 1 Volunteer

• Thursday, July 24, 7 PM Pride Trivia! - 5 Volunteers

• Friday, July 25, 7 PM Queer-e-oke! - 3 Volunteers

• Saturday 12:00 Parade and festival - 4 traffic marshals, 5-10 festival helpers

 

Unfortunately, the lead trivia organizer has had to step back. If you're interested in stepping in to help prepare and coordinate that event, please please pretty please with rainbow sprinkles on top reach out.

 

In other related news, the Annual Pride Whistlestop tour is on. Come through to the WRJ train platform June 14 at 11:30 as your most fabulous self to greet the train and maybe have an impromptu dance party in the parking lot.
